Who We Are

Rotaract Mysore is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women aged 18 to 30. Founded in 1972, we are one of the longest-running Rotaract clubs in Karnataka, operating proudly under Rotary International District 3181, which covers Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, and Dakshina Kannada.

Sponsored by the prestigious Rotary Club of Mysore — established in 1944 — we carry a rich legacy of service, fellowship, and leadership. Our base at Ideal Jawa Rotary School, Krishna Vilas Rd, serves as the heartbeat of our operations across the Chamundi Zone.

With over 400 posts on social media and a growing community of 860+ followers, Rotaract Mysore continues to be the DRR Home Club for District 3181, setting benchmarks in service across southern Karnataka.

Milestones Through the Years

1972

Club Founded

Rotaract Mysore is chartered under Rotary International, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Mysore, beginning a legacy of youth-driven service in the city.

2019

District 3181 Formation

RI District 3181 is formed from the bifurcation of District 3180, covering four revenue districts of southern Karnataka. Rotaract Mysore becomes the DRR Home Club.

2021

GAJA — Voice for Elephants

Rotaract Mysore partners with Rotaract Club of Bangalore Basaveshwaranagar for the World Elephant Day event, earning a formal certificate of recognition.

2022

IDYE & RYLA Participation

Active participation in International Day of Younger Empowerment (IDYE) events and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) programs across the district.

2025

53 Years of Service

Rotaract Mysore celebrates 53 years of continuous service, with DRR Rtn. Rtr. Prajwal leading District 3181 through 40+ clubs and 2,000+ Rotaractors.
